Does this come with a battery and charger?

No — a LiPo battery and charger are sold separately. This truck requires one 2S, 3S, or 4S LiPo with a Traxxas iD® connector. We recommend the 4S LiPo Completer Pack (2996X), which includes a compatible battery and EZ-Peak Live charger.

How fast does it go?

60+ mph on a 4S LiPo battery. It also runs on 2S or 3S — lower cell counts give you more manageable speeds while you get comfortable with it.

What battery do I need?

Any Traxxas iD® 2S, 3S, or 4S LiPo will work. The battery compartment fits packs up to 165 mm × 50 mm × 35 mm.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — fully waterproof, not just splash-resistant. The electronics, receiver box, and servo are all sealed for all-weather use.
