About This Car

The Traxxas 4-Tec® Drift Ford Mustang is a 1/10 scale rear-wheel drive drift car built around a purpose-built drift chassis with over 60° of steering angle and TSM® Drift technology — the electronic system that makes smooth, controlled drifts achievable at any skill level. It ships fully assembled and Ready-To-Race® with a licensed Ford® Mustang clipless body and two sets of drift tires included.

No — battery and charger are sold separately. This car takes a 2S LiPo (7.4V) or 7-cell NiMH battery. The Traxxas EZ-Peak® charger (2970) works with both.

Do I need experience to drift with this?

No — that's the point. TSM Drift Mode actively assists with stability, so beginners can get sideways immediately. Three adjustable drift modes let you dial in as much or as little assistance as you want as your skills improve.

What surfaces does it drift on?

Hard-compound tires (installed from the factory) are for abrasive outdoor surfaces — asphalt, concrete, parking lots. The included soft-compound tires are for polished indoor surfaces like gym floors or track surfaces. Swap to match your surface.
