The Traxxas Rustler 2WD BL-2s HD takes everything that made the Rustler famous and adds a brushless power system. The BL-2s™ brushless motor and ESC deliver more torque, faster acceleration, and less maintenance than a brushed setup — in the same proven 1/10 scale stadium truck platform, now reinforced throughout with Extreme Heavy Duty components. Out of the box on a 2S LiPo, the Rustler BL-2s hits 35+ mph. Swap in the optional speed gearing (sold separately) and it pushes past 45+ mph on 2S LiPo. Battery and charger sold separately.

You Also Need

• ⚠️ Battery not included — requires a 6- or 7-cell NiMH pack or a 2S LiPo battery. A 2S LiPo is recommended for best performance.
• ⚠️ Charger not included — the Traxxas EZ-Peak® Plus (2970) is recommended. Compatible with NiMH and LiPo up to 3S.
• ⚠️ 4 AA alkaline batteries required for the transmitter — not included. Traxxas AA batteries (2914) available separately.
• Recommended: Traxxas 2992 Battery/Charger Completer Pack — the easiest way to add a compatible LiPo battery and charger in one purchase.

Same proven platform as the XL-5 HD — 1/10 scale stadium truck, about the size of a watermelon or a pizza box. 17.5 inches (445 mm) long, 12.25 inches (311 mm) wide, and 7 inches (178 mm) tall.

The Rustler BL-2s HD is a Skill Level 1 vehicle — approachable enough for first-time drivers, fast enough to satisfy experienced bashers. The brushless power system requires no motor maintenance and delivers noticeably more performance than the brushed XL-5 version. Battery and charger sold separately.
