TRX-6554X Traxxas Telemetry Expander Mount (fits Rustler®, Bandit, Slash 2WD)

This is the mounting bracket that lets you install the optional TQi™ Telemetry Expander (6550X) on your Rustler®, Bandit, or Slash 2WD. If you want to run real-time data through your TQi radio system — speed, RPM, temperature, battery voltage — this is the hardware that makes it happen on those platforms. Installation requires drilling into the chassis, and Traxxas includes a drill bit in the package so you have the right tool for the job.

You Also Need

This mount is the bracket only. To use the Traxxas telemetry system, you’ll also need:

• TQi™ Telemetry Expander (6550X) — the unit this mount is designed for
• A compatible TQi™ transmitter (sold separately if not already part of your vehicle setup)
• Optional: GPS Module 2.0 (6551X), RPM sensor (6520), temperature sensor, or other telemetry sensors to expand data collection

Fitment Note

⚠️ Compatible with: Rustler® 2WD, Bandit, Ford F-150 Raptor, and Slash 2WD platforms equipped with a TQi™ radio system. Consult your vehicle’s manual or parts diagram to verify fitment before ordering.

Note: does not fit the 2WD LCG Slash with on-board audio — that variant relocates the receiver and ESC bays, leaving insufficient clearance for this mount.
