About This Kit

The Skitarii are the cybernetic infantry of the Adeptus Mechanicus, forge world troops whose legs have been taken at the knee and replaced with bionics, then sealed into heavy industrialized Skitarii warplate covered in sensors, antennae and environmental monitors. Rangers work at range, hunting with galvanic rifles and refusing to break off until the target is gone. This box builds ten of them, or ten Skitarii Vanguard, from the same set of frames.

You Also Need

Plastic glue and paint. These are multipart miniatures on frames, so they need clipping, cleaning and gluing before they reach the table. Warhammer Colour, formerly Citadel Colour, is what Games Workshop recommends.

Key Features

• One model can be built as a Skitarii Alpha, carrying a radium pistol or an arc pistol alongside a power sword, taser goad or arc maul.
• Three models can take a special weapon: a transuranic arquebus, an arc rifle, or a plasma caliver. The caliver comes with its own head and backpack.
• One model can carry an enhanced data-tether or an omnispex.
• 23 heads across the two builds, so no two squads have to look alike.

Who It's For

Skitarii hold ground and put volume of fire downrange while the heavier Cult Mechanicus units do the killing. Anyone building an Adeptus Mechanicus force will want them in numbers, and the Rangers-or-Vanguard choice means a second box does not have to duplicate the first.

Contains small parts and components with fine points. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Recommended for ages 12+. Model comes unassembled and requires assembly and painting.
