About This Tool

Holding a miniature by its base means holding it wherever your fingers happen to land, which is usually the part you just painted. A painting handle removes the problem: the model clamps in, and you rotate the handle instead of the model.

This is the Mark 2. Games Workshop trimmed the bulk out of the spring-loaded upper clasp so you can reach around and under a model rather than working over the top of the clamp, reshaped the grip to sit in the palm through a long session, and widened and rebalanced the base, which let them make it taller without it tipping over on a crowded desk.

Who It's For

Anyone painting infantry, and especially anyone batch painting a squad. Also worth having for airbrush work, where holding the model by hand puts your fingers in the spray path.
