New Items
The Iron Warriors solve problems with volume of fire and refusal to stop walking. Perturabo's sons are siege specialists, and the box reflects that: nothing here is fast, and everything here is difficult to remove.
A Warpsmith leads, a master of infernal machinery who fights competently at range and in melee. Five Havocs carry the heavy weapons that break vehicles and fortifications. Five Chaos Terminators wade through incoming fire to reach the enemy line. Ten Legionaries take and hold whatever the rest of the force has cleared.
Plastic glue and paint to finish these kits. Warhammer Colour, formerly Citadel Colour, is what Games Workshop recommends.
The upgrade frame is the piece worth noting: it converts the generic Legionaries and Havocs into recognisable Iron Warriors rather than leaving that to paint alone. Beyond it, the Warpsmith takes a power axe or thunder hammer with two heads. The Havoc kit supplies two autocannons, two heavy bolters, two lascannons, two missile launchers, and a reaper chaincannon, with a champion carrying a plasma gun, meltagun, or flamer plus a power maul or chainsword. The Terminators bring five combi-weapons, three power fists, a heavy flamer, a reaper autocannon, a chainfist, and a pair of lightning claws, with nine heads and five trophy rack sets shared between them. The Legionary Aspiring Champion takes a plasma or bolt pistol and a power fist, maul, or axe, and there are 13 interchangeable heads and 12 shoulder pads across the infantry.
A first Iron Warriors army with the faction identity built in rather than bolted on, and existing Chaos collections that need Terminators and heavy weapons in one purchase.

A game mode where one box is your whole army. No list-building and no points calculator, since both players field fixed forces. Roughly the equivalent of a 500 to 600 point game.
No. Combat Patrol uses its own streamlined datasheets, provided free by Games Workshop rather than sold in a codex. They currently live in the Warhammer 40,000 app alongside the free core rules.
It supplies Iron Warriors-specific weapons, heads, and shoulder pads for the Legionaries and Havocs, so they read as the Legion instead of as generic Chaos Marines.
