About This Box

A Cadian Command Squad leads this force, its officers shielded by veterans who have survived more warzones than most regiments see in a decade. Behind them come the Kasrkin, Cadia's special operations troops, carrying an armoury of specialist weapons. Attilan Rough Riders provide the speed, sweeping around a flank and hitting with explosive lances before slower enemies can turn.

Games Workshop calls this force Drayden's Lance. It is a complete Astra Militarum army for Combat Patrol games, sold as one box rather than four separate kits.

Key Features

The Commander takes a laspistol, bolt pistol or plasma pistol in one hand and a chainsword, power sword or power fist in the other. Each Veteran in the squad is built differently, including a field medic with a medi-pack and a vox operator, and the sprues carry parts for specialists such as a Sharpshooter, a Combat Medic and a Demo-trooper.

Every Rough Rider carries an explosive hunting lance that builds with a frag tip for infantry or a melta tip for armour. Two can take an electrical goad lance instead, and two more build as Sergeants with a choice of plumed heads and a power saber either drawn or sheathed at the hip.

Who It's For

This is a starting point for an Astra Militarum collection and a full force on the table from the first game. The Kasrkin do the heavy lifting at range, the Command Squad keeps them shooting, and the Rough Riders answer anything that gets close or sits on a distant objective.

Age & Safety

Contains small parts and components with fine points. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Recommended for ages 12+. Model comes unassembled and requires assembly and painting.
