About This Kit

Chaos Warriors are the bane of the Mortal Realms, clad in hellforged iron and swollen with dark blessings. Entire legions of these armoured killers march to battle in search of divine favour, sworn by bloody ritual to the service of a mighty warlord. Each one is the equal of several lesser mortals, and each harbours ambitions to become mightier still.

This kit builds the armoured core of a Slaves to Darkness army: ten warriors who are formidable on the defence and fearsome on the assault, and who tend to still be standing on an objective at the end of a turn when lighter infantry are not.

• (10x) Chaos Warriors, with parts to build one as an Aspiring Champion, one as a Hornblower musician, and one as a Standard Bearer
• (10x) 32 mm round bases

Key Features

• Every warrior carries a Chaos runeshield and can be armed either with a murderous weapon, in the form of a sword, axe, maul, or hammer, or with a long-handled ensorcelled halberd
• The Aspiring Champion gets a unique murderous weapon and a choice of unique heads
• The Standard Bearer has a choice of two banners and two Chaotic sigils
• A wide range of helmets and bare heads, all interchangeable across the unit, so no two warriors need look alike however large the legion grows

Slaves to Darkness players who need a durable line unit that can take a position and hold it. Chaos Warriors do the unglamorous work: absorbing a charge, contesting an objective, and giving the faction's characters something to lead. Also a good entry point for anyone who wants a Chaos army built around heavy infantry rather than daemons or monsters.
