New Items
Moonclan grots advance in ragged ranks with gongs clanging and banners waving, eyes bulging with the madness of the Gloomspite, and then pour over the enemy line stabbing wildly at everything in reach. Individually they are a joke. Twenty of them holding an objective is a different conversation.
The box builds either of the faction's two core units. Assemble them as Stabbas with hand weapons, spears and Moon Shields for close work, or as Shootas with Moonclan bows and slittas for volleys at range. One box, two units, and the parts for both are in there.
The kit comprises 111 plastic components in total.
You will also need plastic glue and paint to finish this kit. Warhammer Colour, formerly Citadel Colour, is what Games Workshop recommends.
Anyone building a Gloomspite Gitz army, at any point in it. Grots win by weight of numbers, so this is a box people buy more than one of. It is also a good place to screen the squishier parts of a list, hold an objective cheaply, or hide something unpleasant behind a wall of bodies until the moment arrives.
For a new painter, twenty simple models with a limited palette is a friendlier place to learn batch painting than a character kit.
