New Items
Deadwalker Zombies are made from the recently dead, hauled upright by necromancy and pushed onto the battlefield in shambling hordes. There is no mind left in any of them, only a shared instinct, and since the necroquake the migrations have become a standing problem. Whole cities keep roving pyre-gangs on the payroll to burn out an infestation before it turns into something bigger.
One zombie is slow, clumsy and easy to break. Twenty of them is a wall of grabbing hands that even skilled soldiers struggle to cut through, and hunger gives them a nasty turn of speed when prey wanders too close. Anyone dragged down usually gets up again on the other side before the fight is finished.
The kit comprises 94 plastic components in total.
You will also need plastic glue and paint to finish this kit. Warhammer Colour, formerly Citadel Colour, is what Games Workshop recommends.
Soulblight players building the bottom of the army, and anyone who likes the idea of winning by attrition. Zombies exist to be in the way, absorb attacks meant for something that matters, and hold ground nobody else can spare a unit for.
They are also a forgiving unit for a newer painter. Rot, grime and uneven skin tones are the goal, so a mistake usually improves the model.
