About This Kit

Mortek Guard are not raised dead in the ordinary sense. They are soul-constructs, built on purpose out of harvested souls and shaped bone, and they are built for one job: dominate the ground in front of them and keep moving forward.

The osseous armour is close to impenetrable and the nadirite weapons drain the life out of whatever they touch. Twenty of them advancing in lockstep is less a charge than a slow, patient grinding, and the shield wall is what makes the difference between a unit that arrives and one that does not.

• (20x) Mortek Guard, with parts to build one as a Necrophoros banner bearer and one as a Hekatos
• (20x) 25 mm round bases

Key Features

Who It's For

Ossiarch players building the core of a legion. Mortek Guard are the unit the rest of the army is arranged around: they take and hold the centre while the constructs and characters do the interesting work elsewhere.

For painters, bone armour over dark recesses is a striking combination and the interchangeable parts mean a twenty-model block can be varied enough to stay interesting through the whole unit.

Contains small parts and components with fine points. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Recommended for ages 12+. Model comes unassembled and requires assembly and painting.
