TRX-4472 Traxxas Spur Gear, 72-Tooth (32-Pitch) with Bushing

The 4472 is a 72-tooth 32-pitch spur gear with bushing for many Traxxas nitro vehicles. This style of spur gear uses both a bushing and friction pegs (PN 4685, sold separately) as part of the slipper clutch assembly. At 72 teeth it’s on the larger end of the common nitro spur range, favoring torque and acceleration over outright top speed. This is a distinct part from the 4472R, which shares the same tooth count and pitch but is a different design — no bushing, no friction pegs.

Fitment Note
