Imperial Agents are what the Imperium sends when the problem is internal. Inquisitors of the Holy Ordos and their assembled cadres, Assassins from the temples, Rogue Traders operating at the edge of sanction, priests with more conviction than authority. Some run their own campaigns; some attach themselves to a conventional army because the battle serves an end of their own.
This 128-page hardback covers where those organisations came from and how they fight, including the Deathwatch seconded to the Ordo Xenos and the units that turn up alongside them from the Sisters of Battle, Grey Knights, Imperial Navy, and Adeptus Arbites. Alongside the background and the artwork, it carries the full rules for fielding Imperial Agents as an army in their own right or as allies inside another Imperial force.
Anyone building an Imperial Agents force, and anyone running an Imperial army who wants to attach an Inquisitor, an Assassin, or a Deathwatch kill team without guessing at how it works.

It is the 10th edition Codex: Imperial Agents. When Games Workshop announced 11th edition at AdeptiCon in March 2026, they confirmed that existing 10th edition codexes would remain valid in the new edition until a faction receives an updated book. For where Imperial Agents stands today, Warhammer Community is the place to check.
It is the book that lets you attach Imperial Agents units to your existing force, so it is useful well beyond players collecting them as a standalone army.
A narrative campaign system for Crusade play, built around the kind of covert work these forces do rather than open battle.
