About This Kit
The Blood Angels fight at close range because that is where their speed and skill are worth the most, and because the Red Thirst makes distance feel like an unnecessary delay. This box is built entirely around that idea.
Six Sanguinary Guard are the centrepiece, winged and gold-armoured, and they are among the better-looking models Games Workshop produces at this scale. Ten Assault Intercessors provide the weight behind them, and a Blood Angels Captain leads. Two upgrade sets and a sheet of 540 transfers mean the chapter iconography is handled without freehand.

What is Combat Patrol?
A game mode where one box is your whole army. No list-building and no points calculator, since both players field fixed forces. Roughly the equivalent of a 500 to 600 point game.
Do I need a codex to play it?
No. Combat Patrol uses its own streamlined datasheets, provided free by Games Workshop rather than sold in a codex. They currently live in the Warhammer 40,000 app alongside the free core rules.
What are the upgrade sets for?
Blood Angels-specific parts, shoulder pads and details, so the Assault Intercessors read as the chapter rather than as generic Space Marines.
