About This Kit

Not even the Space Marines are safe from Chaos. Some of these warriors turned during the Horus Heresy and some far more recently, and either way what came back is not what marched out: gene-forged soldiers with dark blessings layered over the top, hollowed by centuries of war into something fearless and no longer quite human.

Legionaries are the core of a Chaos Space Marines army and they do whatever the list needs. Bolter fire at range, blades and pistols up close, and a spread of special and heavy weapons to point at whatever the squad is meant to solve.

This is the current packaging, sold as Legionaries after Games Workshop renamed the unit. The kit inside is the same one that shipped in the earlier Chaos Space Marines box.

You will also need plastic glue and paint to finish this kit. Warhammer Colour, formerly Citadel Colour, is what Games Workshop recommends.

Key Features

• Parts for up to two Aspiring Champions, so the box builds one squad of 10 or two squads of 5

• Designed to work with the Havocs kit, so heavy weapons can be mixed between the two

Who It's For

Anyone building a Chaos Space Marines army, and usually more than once. Legionaries are the unit a list is assembled around, and the two-squad option means a single box can serve two slots rather than one.

The kit also paints up as any of the Traitor Legions. Black Legion, Night Lords, Word Bearers, Alpha Legion and Iron Warriors are all buildable from what is in the box, so the scheme is decided at the paint table.

Age & Safety

Contains small parts and components with fine points. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Recommended for ages 12+. Model comes unassembled and requires assembly and painting.
