About This Kit

Freeguild Steelhelms are ordinary men and women handed a shield and told to hold a line against things that should not exist. They are the rank and file of the Cities of Sigmar and the determined heart of the Dawnbringer Crusades, individually outmatched by almost everything they face and winning anyway, on discipline, stubbornness, and faith in Sigmar.

Alongside the Freeguild Fusiliers they form the Castelite formation: Steelhelms take the front and hold it, and the guns work from behind them. This kit builds ten, and three of the ten can be built as characters in their own right.

What's Included

• (10x) Freeguild Steelhelms, with parts to build one as a Sergeant-at-Arms, one as a Battle Priest, and one as a Steelhelm Herald
• (10x) 25 mm round bases
• (1x) Cities of Sigmar transfer sheet, carrying 410 Free City icons, Sigmarite cult sigils, and other heraldry

The kit comprises 96 plastic components in total.

Key Features

• Every Steelhelm carries a sturdy shield and a one-handed weapon, either a sword, an axe, or a mace
• The Sergeant-at-Arms gets a hammer and a crested helm, the Battle Priest carries a holy relic, and the Steelhelm Herald has a trumpet and an icon-topped banner
• Heads, weapons, shield arms, and shield designs are all interchangeable between models, with separate head, relic, and icon choices for the three leaders
• The transfer sheet lets a collection be assigned to a specific Free City rather than left generic

Who It's For

Anyone starting or expanding a Cities of Sigmar army, and a natural first regiment for the faction. Steelhelms are the unit that makes the rest of the list work: they take ground and keep it while the guns and the cavalry do the damage. For painters, the transfer sheet and the sheer number of shield designs make this a kit where a personal heraldry scheme is worth planning before the first coat goes on.

Contains small parts and components with fine points. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Recommended for ages 12+. Model comes unassembled and requires assembly and painting.
