About This Kit
Most armies win through numbers. The Custodes win because each individual model is worth a squad of anything else. Fourteen of them is a full army, and that is not a compromise, it is the faction working as intended.
The box is balanced by design. A Blade Champion leads, built to find the single biggest threat on the table and remove it. Five Custodian Guard form a line that is very difficult to move. Five Custodian Wardens bring veteran staying power behind them. Three Allarus Custodians in Terminator armour arrive where they are least convenient.

A first Adeptus Custodes army, or an existing collection that wants the core units in one purchase. Also a good fit for painters, since 14 models is a project you can actually finish to a high standard.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Combat Patrol?
A game mode where one box is your whole army. No list-building and no points calculator, since both players field fixed forces. Roughly the equivalent of a 500 to 600 point game.
Do I need a codex to play it?
No. Combat Patrol uses its own streamlined datasheets, and Games Workshop provides them free rather than selling them in a codex. They currently live in the Warhammer 40,000 app alongside the free core rules. There is also an optional Combat Patrol Companion book, which adds background and hobby guidance but is not needed to play.
Does it come painted or assembled?
No. Everything arrives on sprues, unassembled and unpainted.
Can I get this in store?
Yes. Order online and we will ship it, or pick it up at JackWagon R/C and Hobbies in Greeley, CO, where we can walk you through which faction suits how you like to play.
Age & Safety
Contains small parts and components with fine points. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Recommended for ages 12+. Model comes unassembled and requires assembly and painting.
