Be'lakor was the first mortal ever raised to daemonhood, and he has spent every century since resenting everyone raised after him. He hangs above a battlefield on enormous wings, wrapped in shadow, watching his enemies work against schemes they cannot see the shape of, and being visibly pleased about it.
He is a fighter and a sorcerer in equal measure, which is unusual, and at 170 mm on a 100 mm base he is built to be the thing a Chaos army is arranged around rather than a piece slotted into it.
The kit comprises 85 plastic components in total.
You will also need plastic glue and paint to finish this kit. Warhammer Colour, formerly Citadel Colour, is what Games Workshop recommends.
Chaos players who want a centerpiece that earns the word, and painters looking for a serious single-model project. The three-way build is worth thinking about before you start: if you play both systems, the neutral assembly means one model covers both armies, and if you only play one, the themed build is more characterful.
Either way this is a model that rewards being taken slowly. There is a lot of surface on him and very little of it is flat.
