About This Kit

Spiritseer Kygharil leads a small band through the Webway to defend their craftworld's hidden gateways, which is the sort of job the Aeldari take seriously because there is no second craftworld to fall back on.

The force plays to everything the faction is good at. Ten Dire Avengers form the fast, accurate core, putting out shuriken fire and repositioning before the answer arrives. Five Warp Spiders make short jumps through the Immaterium and fire monofilament wire at whatever they land next to. Five Wraithblades bring the weight, spirit-driven constructs that do not tire and do not flinch, with the Spiritseer guiding them.

Key Features

The Wraithblades build two ways and it is a real decision: paired ghostswords or ghostaxe and forceshield for melee, or reassign the whole squad as Wraithguard carrying wraith cannons or D-scythes for ranged work. One Warp Spider builds as an Exarch with a choice of loadouts, several heads including bare ones, and decorative base parts. Two of the Dire Avengers can build as an Exarch with four weapon combinations.

What is Combat Patrol?

A game mode where one box is your whole army. No list-building and no points calculator, since both players field fixed forces. Roughly the equivalent of a 500 to 600 point game.

Do I need a codex to play it?

No. Combat Patrol uses its own streamlined datasheets, provided free by Games Workshop rather than sold in a codex. They currently live in the Warhammer 40,000 app alongside the free core rules.

Wraithblades or Wraithguard?

Wraithblades if you want them fighting in melee alongside the Dire Avengers, Wraithguard if you would rather have short-ranged firepower that deletes heavy targets. One build per model, so decide first.
