About This Kit

Warpspark Weapon Batteries are Clans Skryre crews who go to war hidden inside a horde of slavering clanrats, which is the whole trick. Nobody notices them until the moment they choose, and then the machines come out.

Skaven avoid a fair fight by preference. These crews take that instinct further than most, staying tucked inside their own swarming numbers and picking targets from cover. Whether the answer is a hail of bullets, a gout of eerie green flame, or a bolt of warp lightning depends on which machine you build, and all three have a habit of being as dangerous to the crew as to the target.

Key Features

• Each team can be built with a Ratling Gun, a Warpfire Thrower, or a Warpvolt Scourger
• Ratling Guns put out a hailstorm of hot lead, which is the answer to an enemy horde
• Warpfire Throwers spew unquenchable green flame for close work
• Warpvolt Scourgers throw arcs of warp lightning, which is what you want pointed at something tough
• The three teams can take three different machines, or the same one three times

Who It's For

Skaven players who want their shooting to arrive from somewhere the enemy was not watching. Weapons teams are the faction's answer to a target that clanrats alone will not solve, and building all three differently gives a list a tool for each kind of problem. The Clans Skryre aesthetic, all warpstone glow and improvised engineering, also makes these a good showcase for glow effects if you have been meaning to try them.
